lol dang I got on somehow with just 3 tries this morning and played some finally then thought I would leave my char on like a jerk so i could play after work and not worry about whether i can get on or not and while i was getting ready the freaking power went out for a few minutes and i tried like 50 times to get back on but kept getting that error... stupid karma

Square-Enix PLEASE READ (1017)

If they sat on their butts and read every single wall of text complaining about 1017 like yours, they'd never accomplish anything. Do you have any idea how many people are making upset posts just like yours and how many of them want all of square enix to take 5 minutes of their day to read their post? You're not the only person in the world. They've already said that they're busy working on it. Wait for their fix to be implemented, and if you need to get in that bad, just play on a JP server for now.

just increase the capacity. no need for more servers. its more fun when there are more people playing. then having a complete ghost town. in which you can walk around nude, and not have a single emote on you

Paleto, currently right now they cannot just simply increase the compacity. You apparently were not around for the Early Access. When they opened the flood gates it crashed the Duty Finder servers and then players were then locked out for hours if not more than a day with the 3102 error or 90000. They need to fix the current configuration on the servers now, and or add more servers.

Please read the updates or read into how these things work.

How about putting a 5k+ queue and boot all AFK players like in WoW?

Woke up this morning (GMT +4) and saw that the servers were under maintenance. Lo' and behold, 20 mins later the servers are up, I log in, 52 in queue, and before I knew it, the loading screen popped up.. After it lasted for 2 secs I held my breath, and I was IN!

I honestly couldn't believe it. I played for an hour before heading out to work. I also considered leaving my toon on AFK.. Alas, I have a conscience, so I chose not to. I logged in again right away, and guess what, I got in again (this time no queue). I know for a fact that once I'm back home, the servers will be packed once again. I'm glad I got to play for a while, it reminded me why I was dying to get back in. I'm just afraid that desire will once again transform into frustration...

in the same boat as the OP..multiple 1017 errors..I also get the 90000 disconnect. I have not registered the game that I purchased either. Nor will I be submitting a payment method until this all gets sorted out. Worst comes to worst I can ebay this game since it's still shrink wrapped.
