Is It Possible To Preview Gear?

I want to see how an item looks on my character before I purchase it from a vendor or from the AH. Is that possible?

I have tried Alt+Right-Click/Left-Click and Ctrl+Right-Click/Left-click, etc. and they don't work.

If this doesn't exist yet, please SE! Tell us that it is coming in 2.1.

As far as I know not (as of yet) and I'm not avare of this being officially confirmed either although it was one of most requested / discussed features in beta.

My friend wants the same option and honestly I wouldn't mind either, especially with most of the beginning gear looking whack.

Gee..., I love this game! I have many years as an MMO Healer behind me, and I have to say: FFXIV is an absolute blast to play. Yeah, the server problem is a major headache, but it will get sorted out soon enough.

I can't wait to see those quality-of-life enhancements that we all want so badly to come tricking in....

That you can convert it to (usefull) materia which then can be attach to your gear slots (green empty circles) to improve your stats.

With 100% spirit bound the item can convert into materia, if it is convertible

would still need to buy something before being able to wear it to find out how it looks. I really hope they add the preview option soon
