Sharing Chocobo Companion's observations

1. Can we respec the Chocobo ability points?

I wanted to point out, when I did quest and read helpful tip for it. It said once you pick point, it will be undone.
So I assume no. However.. I have a feeling that, we can have more than one chocobo to train for, Since breeding chocobo will coming soon right? Perhaps we could just have one chocobo for each and swap them when we needed to? This is just my guessing.

Get to 30 level, then go to Camp Tranquil (spell?) And get Chocobo feisty quest. That will unlock it.

1. No idea yet.
2. Yes.
3. Killing mobs is the only way, they do not benefit from quest xp.
4. Basically, put it in the stance you want it to preform. I keep mine in the standard form so it uses abilities from all 3 specs.
5. Not that I know of.
6. Very rarely, just hit the stance button again to get it fighting.

I wish they would make it easier to mount, instead of dismissing it than mounting....

From what I can tell chocobo exp its just from fighting mobs.
Once you unlock the fighting chocobo you can summon him/her at any lvl. Started my THM and having a choco to pitch in helps a lot
Only managed to unlock 3 skill points so far.
Also it's been posted that the SP's are limited, so you can't fill every skill. You have to choose what you want your chocobo to be.

Well I got my Chocobo companion to Rank-4 today. The only way that I found to make it level is by chaining mobs which were +1/+2/+3 in level to me. I can usually get chain #5 during the farming. Your Chocobo companion doesn't appear to get XP from Fates or Quest turn ins. The design behind the whole Chocobo companion would be perfect if there were no Fates in the game. No one will be grinding their way to multiple 50s by justing farming mobs.
