he does know what he is doing he is an mmo gamer. Just because we not getting huge patches every 2 weeks don't mean this game is improving. just stop with the fighting though we not talking about ffxiv anymore we are fighting like preshcoolers on whos turn it is on a swing when there are tons of free swings.
I do not approve this thread..

Oh and it's "kai-neh", not "kain".. and it is feminine.. u.u
Because its so much more fun camping a mob for hours at a time, killing the same mob over and over again just in the hope that in 1 of the 100 kills you the item you want will drop, right?
Yes, why should party play be encouraged!?
Because we all love other players blocking entrance and getting in the way when we're trying to get about.
Surly it can't take long to completely re-model and entire world!
Is teleportation not an efficient means of transport? Sure, Chocobos and Airships look cool, but from playing FFXI I seem to teleport spells and outpost warps being a much prefered method of getting around.

Because it's so much fun to get everything you want in 30 minutes then log off the game, right? Having no sense of accomplishment is great.
There are better ways to gain a sense of achievement other than repeatedly killing the same mob. Killing a boss 100 times is no harder than killing it once, it just more of a time sink. I'd rather move on to a new challenge.
If you log off after getting the equipment, what is the point in getting it in the first place. I always see getting new gear as a way of improving my character for the next thing I want to do, not as the final goal.
I honestly don't really see a point in this thread. Most of the things you're complaining about are either 1) already being worked on, or 2) aren't actually a problem. They've stated before that this stuff takes TIME. If you don't want to wait, play something else until they fix the game so that you aren't constantly disappointed. For example, I got tired of waiting so I'm playing Rift now, but that doesn't mean that I'm not excited for any updates that come out. You don't understand the fact that they are implementing things that are getting ready for the bigger core updates that are to be taking place soon. I know it takes a while to completely re-do an entire battle system, especially due to the fact that they aren't allowed to use as much power over there anymore due to the national tragedy they are going through. Try to be sympathetic just a bit.
For one, you've never met Yoshi-P, so you have no idea if he's "shaking in his boots" or not.
Secondly, Tanaka had 5 years of development to turn this into a game we wanted to play and he botched the crap out of it. This game is in such a poor state because of HIM so I don't see where these sudden fans of Tanaka are coming from.
Third, not a single one of you has any development experience as far as games go, so you have no idea how long it takes to recreate an entire battle system after the crap system that was placed before it. And if you do have dev experience, then you should know better.
P.S. I stand by Yoshi-P in his decisions thus far. They're building a whole new system, be patient or go somewhere else. As much as you hate this game, and already stated you won't play it over FFXI, I seriously see no reason for you to be posting anymore.

I'm not sure why people are saying these NMs have a near 100% drop rate, I soloed 3 NMs yesterday and didn't get any of their drops, and as a solo they took about 20-30 mins to kill. If you run around with an 8 person level 50 party killing midlevel NMs, then yeah, expect to get done fast, these are level 20-30 NMs, not end game.
Yawn. I stopped reading at 'party buff'...
