Why don't Legacy players also get the pre-order bonuses?

As a Legacy player, it seems that we should automatically receive the pre-order bonuses including the Moogle Hat and the Cait Sith pet. Seeing how we already owned the game, it's not possible for us to rebuy it to gain these bonuses as well. After all, Legacy players did preorder the game, just a year or two before everyone else did.

Is it me or does it seem kind of odd that Legacy players were not automatacally given these awards and have no ability to get them?

I'm with you man. I want all the items you have from playing 1.0, that got carried over to ARR.

You had the opportunity, but as you said you DIDN'T pre-order it, so yeah I know plenty of legacy players who has their pre-order bonuses.

You chose not to pre-order it thus you don't deserve the rewards given to people who do pre-order it, it's really that simple.

I pre-ordered the orginal fgame, as well aswas in beta and EA originally. We basically pre-ordered the game 3 years in advance at 79,99 USD

I got everything else tho, the othe 2 items aren't very impressive.

Technically, couldn't you have preordered the PS3 version? I'm not legacy so this issue doesn't have anything to do with me, but you didn't need to buy the game again (regular or CE, and if you had CE you get BOTH sets of items)...it does seem like you already get quite a bit for Legacy, you really needed more?

With the amount of bonuses you ALREADY GET (reduced subs for life, 2.0 CE items (if you had 1.0 CE list goes on) you're being pretty greedy. Also, had you preordered, you would have gotten it.

Are you really this slow?

You go to Amazon, you preorder, you get your preorder code, you apply that to your LEGACY account, you get your items as a Legacy. Done.

I am 1.0 I done this, My friend is Legacy they done this.

If you really need to be told how to preorder a game then you cannot be helped.
