lol you say that 1-20 is a joke...but your highest is r9....failure.Dear SE give us Tanaka back Yoshi-p is a joke am sorry i was hoping you could help out the game but you made this even more casual then wow.
getting 1-20 rank is a joke not even WoW is that quick not even with Full dam BoA.
This is not Casual game this is Casual"Casual oh look i have 1hour to play let me kill a NM do a behest and maybe i have time to do leves -.-
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
For every desperate hardcore that wants Fafnir on a 3 hour window in an open field in the middle of the night against 10 other shells, there are ten who don't give a **** what those people think.
Put Fafnir in an instance. Let the harcores whine that they've become too common. They won't shut up until the game is painful to 90% of players, because that's the only way they'll like it.
Forget them. Develop good, challenging content that your majority can access regularly. End. Success.
100% agree. For every desperate hardcore that wants Fafnir on a 3 hour window in an open field in the middle of the night against 10 other shells, there are ten who don't give a **** what those people think.

I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!
How sad is the MMO community became???... only players who want everything, now, and easily......its a very short satisfaction...For every desperate hardcore that wants Fafnir on a 3 hour window in an open field in the middle of the night against 10 other shells, there are ten who don't give a **** what those people think.

and the worst thing is that software houses mainly listen to this kind of players....
GOD OF THE HARDCORE PLAYERS.... COME AND SAVE US

Yoshi-p please don't listen to this, HNM no thanks, instanced dungeons Yes please.

I am all for hardcore fights, but I am against sitting in a small area waiting for a HNM to pop to only see it getting claimed by a bot or someone with crazy low latency.
I seriously do not mind spending 1 hour or even more on a certain fight. I consider myself hardcore, I consider myself a player that loves challenges, but waiting 3 hours to have a chance to claim a mob that might or might not drop a certain item is not my way of saying I am hardcore.
I do not have the time to do those things anymore, but I would love to get some challenging stuff. Which I am sure we will get sooner or later. Right now there are more important things to do.
Valkurm Emperor and Leaping Lizzy were both soloable and even dropped items that even end-game players used. We are talking about rank 30-40 NMs here that do not drop anything great for end-game, so I seriously do not see the problem.
I don't want HNM's, I never did HNM's in FFXI EVER and didn't need any gear from them because the gear they dropped sucked for my classes, plus they were boring and dumb. I want actual content, fun, hard, challenging, long lasting content that FFXI had. Not this "3-6 months to design beat in 1-7 days" content we have right now. This is too casual, too easy, to fast. Content should last longer than it takes to make, or else the design is flawed and bad.

They're keeping me occupied. The game failed because people didn't stick around because the low-midlevels weren't grabbing people. I'm intentionally not capping my jobs because I realize this, and the content they are putting in is actually challenging for me. I tried soloing Unknown Soldier last night for my thaumaturge weapon and I died, it was surely doable but it was late and didn't keep trying.
Typically people who grind new MMOs to level cap find themselves bored out of their minds. These MMOs grab people in the low-mid levels which allows the devs to focus more on end game with the first few patches. This is not the case for FFXIV, they need to grab new players. If they focus on appeasing the level 50s solely then all the people who are hanging in the balance (like me) wont have anything to pull back in. Everyone playing right now isn't rank 50.
I am thoroughly enjoying these patches and, especially 1.17. I have a feeling I'll be playing a lot more than I have in the past in the coming weeks to collect all the class specific gear I want and see all the new quests they put in.

All i want is a decent party/armory system.
You should enjoy leveling.
Whats the point of giving us content (mid/high rank) if it still going to suck to do it.
Spam crappy looking skills = win
Honestly I never got anything from those NMs as well except cerberus mantle. But this is what they do in WoW. They have to constantly release more stuff every few months that is easy so no one cries about not being able to do it.I don't want HNM's, I never did HNM's in FFXI EVER and didn't need any gear from them because the gear they dropped sucked for my classes, plus they were boring and dumb.
