Looks like everyone is AFK'ing now. Can't even login at 7am CDT. I understand those of you that are doing this and why - but what you don't realize is that you just made it much worse. I'm posting this here because it's related to this game and those of us that can't get in have every right to voice our concerns.
Yeah what is this world coming to when a guy can't log on at 7am....and go to work..lol (FYI-I'm speaking for self).
Yeah me is also having some problems getting into the game now >.< because the game crashed but oh well things like this happen when ever a new MMO's come out so I'm used to it ^ω^ also the devs are working hard on the game so see you all soon.
I can't believe people AFK while at work.
"I deserve to play when I get home, so I'll just screw the people who have the day off so I can get a few hours into tonight! It doesn't affect me, so why should I care?"
Awesome.
OP has only been able to get to level 39... Poor soul has barely been able to play at all. lol
Can't really blame people for wanting to play the game they paid for, y'know?
Personally I always log out, but the fact that people are staying online afk so they can play is more SE's fault for not having an afk kick feature to begin with.
I can absolutely blame them for taking a spot from players who will actually use the time to play!
This isn't Square-Enix's fault; the players are making a conscious choice to abuse the system.
"Your honor, my client isn't responsible for shooting that man! The gunmaker is at fault for making it possible!"
Nope.
There's no abuse. A person logged in paid the same as a person who can't. Doesn't really matter what they are doing.
So tell me which is worse:
1) Someone logs in the morning and AFK's all day while at work. Then they come home and play all evening and night.
2) Someone does not log in the morning and comes home and find themselves locked out all evening and night. They aren't ever able to play. ; ;
Which would you chose?
Hahaha. I enjoy all the blame on those who AFK and never log out in order to play. Most amusing. Playing a video game is not an altruistic endeavour. It's not charity work. It's not some grand selfless and noble gesture. Why should anyone give one single fuck about what you, some other meaningless person also trying to play the game (for your own personal enjoyment) is doing or not doing? That's SE's role in this. They're the grand provider here. Their actions dictate the actions of those who play the game. Create a situation of scarcity where in order to play the game, people resort to AFKing and people will. If you are frustrated at not being able to play (which I am extremely), the fault lies with SE entirely. If they wish to address this issue and change the way people behave from this hoarding behaviour which they instilled with severe log in restrictions to one where people freely log in and out allowing all to play when they choose to, which I think they have with a timeline of next week, that's on them. It's all action/reaction and there's nothing nobler or grander about it then that. Don't expect people to fall on their sword for total internet strangers, especially when it comes to a video game.
Lol. Just wait till you can't log in for a day.why do people treat the GD of a gaming forum like their personal twitter account?
Could'nt you just make this a post on your facebook/twitter instead?
Then you could get some type of reciprocity from your friends, instead of a bunch of strangers who don't really care?
EDIT: Sorry I really don't mean to come off as harsh , I am just struggling to understand the mentality behind it
They should just boot people off every 4 hours and make them log back in, that way it keeps it fair
