When I opened my physical collector's edition of the game today i found that there was only one registration code in it. Are there supposed to be more codes in the box for my CE in game items? I am very confused. Thank you for any info.

just so you know. I'm lost to. I hear about the "mog station" and how you have to "apply a registration code through the Sony Entertainment Network." which I did. and still nothing.my only thought is that you registrar the code with your PSN and after you start it up for the first time. (after you download it) the "MOG STATION" will change to you having the C.E.. that is what I'm trying now.
That one code goes into "Redeem Codes" part on your PSN. It registers as a CE code. In other words, all items and membership are tied to it. Use it and you'll get your 30ish days and the items in your moogle mail.
I had two codes in my PS3 CE.
The first code was 4-4-4 code that is to be applied via Account Management>>Redeem Codes from the PS3 Home. That grants you your +30 days and the CE Items (which are delivered by Moogle Mail in game). I found that once I'd applied the code I then had to restart the FFXIV client, it asked me to reconfirm I was linking my SE account to this PSN account and then once I'd managed to log in all the items were waiting for me in my in game mail, which you can pick up from any of the Delivery Moogles, and my account had been credited with +30 days. You can check that via the Mogstation link from the Final Fantasy Lodestone home page.
The second code I got was a much bigger code and was directing me to a members site somewhere (the URL was printed on the text), however I have yet to find a way to use that code as the URL it directs me to is not accessible.
I think that second code is just to register the game with their site. Most games have it now. Buy a DS game and it has some code to register with Nintendo or something. Was it on a small red/black/white square paper thingy?
I have a very similar problem but on PC. Got my physical CE, opened everything up, superb, but only 1 code inside the disc box "Registration Code" (4+4+4+4+4 digits). The leaflet doesn't say anything other than how to redeem the code which I did, yet my Accounty Type is still marked as "Standard" and I got 32 days of free play.
Where's my CE code?! Did they forget to throw them into the boxes or what?!
EDIT: There was a second code in the box as well, but that is for Square Enix Members thingy and it seems useless (looks almost identical to the early access code and is only used to register the game on your SE account for wallpapers etc it seems)
you get the code in the game case, the one for the items! well for me was on the back of the little instruction book thing and i just went account mang and then redeem code and it worked. hope that some what helps OH and the long code is to register FF XIV CE too you're account on SE and ya
Does the long code leaflet say it is CE?you get the code in the game case, the one for the items! well for me was on the back of the little instruction book thing and i just went account mang and then redeem code and it worked. hope that some what helps OH and the long code is to register FF XIV CE too you're account on SE and ya
And if I understand correctly there is an additional code for the items which you redeem under "Bonus Codes" yes?
If that's the case, then simply I was given the wrong game box inside the CE........
That's absolutely ridiculous !!!
