CE items per character?

Hi guys,

Last night, I logged in to FFXIV for the first time in about a year. I was sad to see that there was no room for me to play my main character, but I went ahead and started a throw-away on a JP server to pass some time. When I found a Moogle, I was excited to see the CE items for ARR (1.0 CE preorder)! I snatched them up and put on my cool new Helm of Light. I also used the Couerl whistle and the Chocobo barding.

Next, I felt a sense of dread when I realized what I had done. I Google'd around some, and saw a post that reassured me that these items were per account, not character. HOWEVER, once I was able to log into my main character this morning, I rushed to the Moogle only to find no mail available for me.

Needless to say this is very disappointing. What can I say? I wasn't thinking about it and I was just excited to be playing, seeing cool new things, whatever. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can try calling SE support, but I am not holding much hope.

Unless you linked the CE items to another service account, they are indeed tied to all of your characters. What you need to do is head over to the mogstation and verify that all permanent options are on ONE service account, and if not call SE support to link them for you. May take a little runaround, but they do have the ability to do so.

Edit: For clarification - CE/Preorder/Bonus items are tied to the service account. All characters under that service account will get the items. Service account is not the same as your SE account, they are a subsection thereof.

I just had a chance to go check out the Mogstation. Both of the characters in question ARE on the same service account. There is a 2nd service account, but it is inactive and has no characters attached. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe I just don't get them from the Moogle again, the 2nd time?? Please see below for some copy/paste from the service account info. Wincy is my main, Druby was the throw-away I created on JP server last night (and used the bonus items on).

I got them for two chars my friend my toon drizzt on anima jp server and two eggs on midgard
