The only downside with this is when you are in party of 8 and have to quick count that the person is 5th, 6th or 7th on the list.
Think I'll be quicker to hit it with mouse click and the number on the task bar![]()
I have bound keys R, F, C, and V to target Self, 2nd member, 3rd member, and 4th member respectively. I also manually change order of party at start of dungeon so the tank is always key F. This allows me to change party members and heal without ever moving the mouse or having my fingers leave the home row (I hate the function keys since they are so out of the way). After a while it becomes second nature where you cast a spell, change the target to a a new target while the previous spell is casting so you are immediately ready to go with your new spell.
If you have 8 members, then other healer is Shift+R and other tank (if there is one) is Shift+F. I also have a Logitech mouse with 8 buttons (all mapped to number keys). So fingers are always 1-2 keys within WASD and all commands are combinations of 1-6 (on mouse buttons) with and without shift, control, and alt. Very movement efficient.

I realized last night that trying to make just the mouse or just a controller was silly of me when I can do homer row and 10-key blindfolded. That with these macros should really help!
