Useful Healing Macros

no healer should ever have a wait command in any macro used during combat.

I am fascinated by absolute statments such as this one. ever? There are no circumstances under which wait is a good idea? Would you care to explain the reasoning behind this dictum?

Here a macro to land some DOTs, I use Thunder from thaumaturge
When the situation allows you to throw in your occasional attacks

/micon "Cleric Stance"
/ac "Cleric Stance" <me>
/wait 1
/ac Thunder <tt>
/ac thunder <t>
/wait 3
/ac Aero <tt>
/ac Aero <t>
/wait 1
/ac "Cleric Stance" <me>

otherwise I use rotations with Macro Cure and Macro Stone (they all have been posted already)
I am a low level Conjurer so I can use it.

Another one I use is with the shared skills from Arcanist :
/Micon Virus
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <t>
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <tt>
/wait 1
/ac Virus <tt>
/ac Virus <t>
/recast "Eye for an Eye"

even if the cooldown of Eye for an Eye is longer the last line will tell how much time left for next Eye for an Eye
