Are you sure you're hovered over them? It SHOULD be working. It also works if you hover over their name in the party list.

then the usual <tt> damage spells so I don't have to lose my tank as target (or the other way round <tt> on heal spells so I don't have to lose the boss as target). Depends on the fight.
