Useful Healing Macros

Is it possible to set a mod key to focus? So that as long as I am holding down, say, right alt key I will heal my focus and otherwise I will heal my current target. Something of an old habit for me from my WOW healing days I would like to be able to do again.

Don't think there are modifiers within the macros themselves but you can just duplicate your healing action bar but with <focus> as the target and set the bindings for that bar to alt+button. If you don't want a duplicate bar on screen you can hide that one and it will still work.

I started healing in Rift after always Dps'ing and grew to love it. I am getting by with the F1 - F4 Keys atm but I can see as I am needing to move more in dungeons, I need to get working on some macros. .This thread will be a huge help! Servers are down (again), so I figured I would get working on it!! Thanks all!

Anyone know how to play the alert sound without the command for that effect showing in the chat?

Mine is:

/p Help, your healer is in trouble <se.1>

The text show in chat so party can see, but is there a way to hide the "<se.1>" but still the sound?
