How I see the new abilities:
Asylum - Get ready for my holy spam because that's the only healing you gonna get.
Aero III - I guess I should put some dots up before holy spamming.
Assize - I need more MP to spam holy even more, also stop getting hit in the face.
Tetragrammaton - I guess I should heal that tank now.
Stone III - There's less than 3 mobs left alive. - Ragns Meuhie
I don't "need" macros, but I find it faaar faster to just mouse over someone's frame and heal them that way, rather than having to manually select the target. Sure, it's only a fraction of a section, but sometimes that counts.
I generally just use the party menu on the left and click from there, can build up quite a good rhythm!![]()
Is there a macro or function allowing me to keep an enemy on focus while I heal? It is good to see his health and know what he is casting.
Have yet to find an icon that wasn't in the list. The code is /micon "spellname", btw.
Shift + F
Ack I use F as a macro for spellsCan you tell me what it is called?
edit: actually that may be ok, thank you!
First I mainly play with controller HUD.
Currently on my keyboard
Alt + , = is second slot on my horizontal hotkey bar. (Prescience DoT Combo w/o Stone)
Alt + . = is third slot ".....". (DoT Combo + Stone I)
F1 = 4th Slot (Prescience of Mind)
Space Bar = First Slot (Cleric Stance Here)
With that said, some of the macros I've made with my Controller/keyboard play style:
/micon "Aero"
/ac "Aero"
/wait 1
/ac "Virus"
/wait 1
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <8>
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <4>
-> This macro I usually use to place Eye for an Eye on a tank without having to use a new hotkey. I combined Aero and Virus as well. So basically to work this macro correctly, I arrange my party so a tank is always in the 8th or 4th slots. If there is no player in an "8th" slot( for example if your only in a 4 man dungeon) it will cast the skill on the player in the 4th. Afterwards to use this macro successfully, I aero any target first and it will do the rest. If there's a dungeon that requires two tanks though like coil, I keep the tanks together on the bottom of my party list but Eye for an Eye will always only hit one of them.
