You should go full STR. You'll get damage, enmity, and more health returned from your drain abilities than you could get back from Thrill of Battle (112 HP per use, 120s cooldown) and passive regen bonuses (11HP/3s gained from 30 VIT). Had a whole lot of math demonstrating this on the beta forums, but that's gone now. Just realize that with 900 damage-based potency healed by Inner Beast stacked with Maim and Storm's Eye, you'll get 86.4 additional damage healed per shot before crits on an ability you use 3 times per minute, and when you can roll it up with Inner Release and Berserk, you're pushing an additional ~150 HP healed per shot from that 30 extra STR. Two of those per 90s catch you up to VIT's bonus, and the other 3 uses roll you right over the top, plus extra drain from Bloodbath. So yeah, in terms of recovery, STR wins; in terms of mitigation, STR wins (but parrying is negligible); and in terms of damage and enmity, STR wins. The only reason to consider VIT at all is spike risk reduction, and that's not particularly meaningful because you'd be dead 3 seconds later in any case (and really should get a PLD for that job). STR is obviously the efficient choice for WAR.

PLD should almost never put points into DEX either. No tank should. Considering blocking and parrying points only provides some acceptable return when your threshold is very nearby. Since I'm not sure anyone knows if parry/block chance has tiered thresholds at all, it's pretty hard for DEX to ever be worth dumping points into.
