Gold sellers/Botters

You know it's not exactly the fact that i'm a little frustrated I haven't been able to log in today as much as it was when I was in earlier, and quite literally every map I entered I was introduced to spammers in /shout about gold selling and their websites. I know people are pissed about the afkers taking up spots, but i'm more pissed about the gold sellers spamming chat with their bots taking up space for people who are LEGITELY trying to play the game.. FFS!!

ps i got a stupid error and haven't been able to log back in yet, this is my rant for the day.

He is just venting frustration, I would suggest doing the smart thing and just reporting them in-game. There is a support system out there, but with all of the current issues underhand I highly doubt it will be taken care of anytime soon. What you can do in the mean time is 1 Blacklist them. or 2 Go to your character configuration > log window settings. > click on general with a 1 beside it > and disable the chat they are spamming.

The problem is due to the level restriction and other errors, it's almost impossible to report this on other sections. Besides, I tried to report a gold spammer in game to day, and when I clicked on ANY of the Report buttons i couldn't type anywhere in any of the text boxes, so unfortunately you can't report in game. NTM theres not report button when you right click in chat, and you have to manually go into your blacklist to block them. I mean what is this have we been transport back to the MMO stoneage?

SE should implement a right click blacklist option. We can right click send tell etc. But I have to manually type in a name or copy/paste to add to blacklist Perhaps this was just overlooked in beta without any gold sellers. Also, the sellers can just continually create new chars / delete / rinse and repeat. They may not be able to do it now that character creation is on a freeze but after the freeze is over and free trial periods are over something should be implemented to combat this. Maybe a restriction on how many characters you can create / delete per day or something idk...

I Agree with this Thread. I Was in on an alt I made yesterday since I Wasnt able to get on my main from Beta Phase 4 and low and behold a Gold Spam Bot?!?! I mean come on the Gold Spammers the game doesnt even USE Gold you idiots LoL. it uses the Gil system. sure I guess you can say that is a form of gold however I dont think it is fair that these Gold Spammer Sellers are even able to get in the game and others who have been anticipating the return of this game had to wait. they should implement something to eliminate these Spammers. I mean is there like a cash shop thats going to be in the game or something? I dont think there will be. however I could be wrong.
