New Expansion question

Hey,

I was wondering after you beat the main scenario quests..is there plans to add more story line to the game after new expansions come out and updates? Or is it going to be like WoW, where they just add new areas, dungeons and such?

S-E has always added a new story arc with each expansion ever since FFXI. Some of them were like a continuation of the previous one. While others were something completely new (but most of the time still somewhat related to the previous storylines)

Also, don't expect an expansion anytime soon. I'm expecting 1 year and that's the strict minimum. Which will most likely be longer.
