Fates Seals bug?

my only problem so far with fates on ps3 (other then targeting is very hard i find myself targeting other ppl or npcs im supposed to fight along side) is that there might be a bug with the seals from fates.. i did a ton in my head i knew i got 4-5,000 seals.. went into town it said 1700... did it again today knew i got around 4-5k turned out to be 2.. even if i go into my achievments it says i have earned 9,062/10,000 seals yet i have only had just over 4,000 to spend.. dunno any ideas? or am i overlooking something

On the targeting. You can change how you target in the options. I found I had to turn both weapon holstered, and weapon out options to the enemy options. This made it so left and right only select baddies and nobody else. Which is exactly how I want it. Dunno bout the other stuff havent made it to lvl 30 yet to join a grand company.

I saw that seal thing myself I did a fate got the 50,000 seals achievement but only had 10,000. So I looked in the grand company section under the 100,000 one and was at 52,490 did a fate and checked again it was at 52,868 but I only received 189 seals from the fate. So I guess the fate only gave me half of the seals which means all fates give half seals or less now according to the grand company seal achievements

Also, when holding L2 or R2 to do skills, you can use L1 and R1 to auto switch your target between enemies only. You don't even have to hit select, it auto-focuses on the previous/next enemy.

Check your rank. There's a specific number of seals you can hold base on your rank in GC.

I'm not certain this is a FATE bug, but I too had this issue. When I had ~5000 seals earned total, it said I had just gotten an achievement for getting 10k. I had ~3000 seals on hand, 2000 buying chocobo license. So there really was no way to have earned 10,000 unless it was counting seals I earned for lower level fates before joining the grand company (and therefore, earned no seals).

Either its doubling the amount of seals for purposes of the achievement, or the pre GC FATE are counting as seals even when you recieved none. I haven't really looked into this issue, but I too noticed the discrepancy at the 10k mark.

Same, total seals I having 5k plus and unlocked this achievement. Anyone can advise?

i know under keybinds in the pc version there is a bind to make it so you can only target enemies party members or npc's. these are all targeting modes that might help you in fates.

I'm guessing maybe you get the achievement based on how many seals you have received total, and not how many your holding. Example, you don't have to save up 30k seals to get the achievement, you just have had to gain that much over time, rather you spend them or not. As for doing FATE's and not receiving seals, I haven't had this problem, and hope I never see it. LOL
