I was wondering if there are any updated crash course guides to crafting available, specifically for Armorer. Any details can help!

All I can recommend is learn a gathering job (Miner) first. It makes leveling so much easier when you can easily get the materials. Other than that just keep unlocking crafts 1 by 1 you get bonus exp from new items. then when you run out do leve quests or craft some hq stuff for items you have a lot of mats for.

I don't know about guides, were you wanting to learn about how crafting works? Or were you looking for a levelling guide, what to make to make your levels go faster? If you want the most experience then don't use Quick Synthesis, go to normal Synthesis on your crafting log ("N" on the keyboard to bring it up); you gain more experience when you work towards increasing the quality and also when you make something you have not made before. It takes a lot of gil too, you could sit for hours and craft all day long if you had a massive amount of gil :P.
