Thank you very much for playing FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

We would like to make a clarification regarding our previous announcement “Regarding Congestion in Japan Data Center Worlds (Aug. 27)” in which we stated that we are preparing to increase the capacity of our data centers.

The first half of the announcement regarding login and character creation restrictions was directed towards our players who would be playing during peak hours in Japan data center Worlds.

However, the second half of the announcement regarding increasing the capacity of our data centers was meant to also encompass North American and European data center Worlds and not just be limited to Japan data center Worlds.

We deeply apologize for causing concern amongst the North American and European community due to our lack of clarity. Capacity will be increased for data centers in all regions.

Once again, thank you for your understanding and cooperation to help us welcome more players to the game.

about time, but glad to hear its going to be increased for the US as well. i still have hope yet im still pissed, maybe a extra 30 days will drop down and exonerate there short comings.

they are increasing Capacity for Both JP and NA/EU servers? How Much?

This is horrible news.

Good news would be

"Thank you for Playing FFXIV:ARR, We would like to inform you that we have obtained ## new servers that we will be deploying in the EU region as to relieve the Current congestion of the NA/EU combined Data-centers. These Servers will be Deployed and up within ## hours. All Current EU servers will be ported to these servers and Converted to NA servers. We are sorry for the Inconvenience our shortsighted planning in combining NA/EU into one data-center has caused. We will also strive to keep you further informed as we go forward with more frequent posts in the Forums, Twitter, and Facebook. Thank you for patience at this time."

Untill i see something like this there is no good news....

Untill i see something like this there is no good news....

i don't think they even know, this just the plan, we might not see anything desired until next week. im losing faith i can play with my wife and friends now. i was out working wildfires and couldn't make a character till today. now i cant.
