And some of you act like they got all the time in the world to fix their game. The window for success for an MMO is very small and they have very little time to fix this or the reputation this game will get will be unrepairable. The launch sets the standards now a days and it's sink or swim and this game is going down like the Titanic atm.

Sure having to wait 6 or 7 days for to be able to play the game is annoying, but it is to be expected of a good game that suddenly attracts a massive audience. Many games had/have similar issues with their servers etc. so you shouldn't stop playing the game due to one issue that is being sorted out anyway.

Ultimately, they should have been more prepared, given their ability to track presales. That said, now that they have communicated a clear plan and set expectations, I am willing to wait it out.

OK, so realistically, I'll have 10+ days that were effectively paid to access, that I have been unable to play.

Let's say they get it running good on 9/4/13...
THAT better be the start of the 30-days free, with billing starting on 10/4/13 - and on 10/7/13 for Early Access players.
That is quite literally the only way this will not leave me angry.
And y'know what? I'm not out for blood - this is an entirely reasonable resolution.
