I just logged into Mog Station to check my subscription options and found the prices are in Euros???
We are grouped with EU because we are PAL systems here but your going to have a riot on your hands if you want Aussies to pay in euros.

As far as I understand it anyone not in NA is considered to be EU. Actually, I think I may have even heard of Canadians having some trouble with this as well. But yeah - pretty sure it's not defined by whether your PAL or not, but whether you're NA or not.
Why isn't the Euro price equivalent to the USD price then? That would solve any issues.
Unfortunately this is the problem when they don't charge one rate.
These days every bank converts currencies. They get extra $$ from you in Euros.
...and when the US$ improves, we'll be better off paying with Euros. Meh.
Did you use a EU CD key to make your account? If so, you would be charged Euros instead of USD or JPY. CD key affects your billing and future expansions as NA does not accept JPN or EU CD keys as most have already noticed from the EA access codes, same thing applies to EU and JPN codes.

EU cd keys are not just limited to Euros as you say. What about GBP????Did you use a EU CD key to make your account? If so, you would be charged Euros instead of USD or JPY. Just the difference between Aus = Euro vs GBP can be anywhere upto 44aud a year.
Why not give all countries a set currency payment.
Or maybe make everyone convert to yen?

Yea sorry, I had forgotten about pounds, but I do know if you own a EU account you have to pay in either pounds or euros. Not entirely sure how it is being defined but my point was that if you had used a EU cd key, your account will be billed accordingly to that country's currency not because of PAL systems.
Yes it would be much easier for us if everyone paid in one currency as well as remove the region restriction on CD keys. In 1.0 my NA account simply refused my card as it was not from a NA billing address, I had to beat around the bush and purchase Crysta.
I am wondering also. Considering when I played with conversion rates yesterday we'll be paying up to $30 more to match with the Euro prices at 180 days. Gamecards are out of the question too as EB Games are selling them at $40 per 60 days, making it even worse than the conversion rates...
Checked it last week, and the conversion actually works out better for us than paying the USD price. Remember that we are paying the 'equivalent' of the price, since our credit/debit cards are in AUD.
"Going to a riot on your hands"? Yeah, righto mate.
