a)cant register my credit card
b)cant use paypal or ugc card to buy crystal

Would love to play but if not, have no problem to take my money and spend it elsewhere.
My friend, also a 1.0 player had the same problem. Just bought a fresh copy and registered his credit card with no issue, so looks like they want us to rebuy the game afterall =P.
