    I am with you on that. I played 1.0 with no problems and now we have this fiasco? I am fan of ARR but i do not see the need to overcome so many hurdles to sub, never before i have encountered an mmo with these problems. For those playing, i am happy for you and for those with the payment problems i suggest move on and wait for Wildstar.

    I feel the same way. I love how this game did a 180 on nearly everything compared to V1, but I have never had such a PITA experience with any type of payment system until now for any type of online service. It wouldn't be too bad if we could get a rep to post regarding the problems or at least something on the front page, but so far nothing.

    Sadly none of the above option will work for me . I live in Puerto Rico, and although it is US territory it does not let me buy Crysta in the square enix management page, I get error 11000, and it doesn't even show up as an option in the mog station. So even if i were to get a ultimate game card or call any number, I will still not be able yo use the crysta in the mog station... My only option is paying by credit card, which is not working and apparently will not work for the time being...

    I can't there is no gamecard option for me in the mog station. The only options are credit cards. Unless game cards are redeemed under the "bonus code" section of the mog station, is that the area to redeem the codes?

    Directly from the mog station you wont see the ultimatepay option, you have to go to the "add crysta" instead in the separate square enix account management (go to the 4th tab over "square enix account settings" and the third drop-down option will be add Crysta).

    I just used the method advised by Timberwolf and it worked (thanks soo much Timber).

    For a brief rundown:
    Buy an ultimate pay game card (or code from an online retailer such as walmart or offgamers ), in "alternative payment options" in the ultimatepay section choose "use game card" insert the code and it most likely won't work.
    THEN call (650) 432 3200 and ask to be transferred to "PlaySpan"
    Once there mention you are having problems with using the ultimate game card to add FFXIV Crysta and they will be able to help you out. You will need the email address that your FFXIV account is tied to as well as the ultimate pay game card code to give to them and they will process it for you.
    LASTLY after they added the Crysta for you go back to the Mog Station and process your subscription payment using Crysta (for 180 day you will need 7794 Crysta, so you'll need to have bought $78 or more worth of game cards to convert over)

    Ok problem solved.... by purchased the Ultimate game card from Offgamers and called UltimatePay # is (877)-7036339 if you try to get off as IDD need to add (1) before all those number.
    even this is solved SE you troll have to step up and make this issue fix on your side. You owe everyone here an APOLOGIZE!!!!
