Chocobo companion: questions

Basically, what is their rank cap?
I plan on playing mostly tank classes, should i go for dps choco or healer choco?
Is there really no way to reset chocobo points? :\

Healerbo if you wanna save cash on potions. Then again, they are only in open pve and not dungeons.
In party PvE the Healerbo can use Medica lol. I don't remember he's list.
Fighterbo...You could get DPS since you regen HP superfast outside combat and kill faster.

Around lvl 30 the Main Quest line will lead you to Camp Tranquil in the South Shroud, there you can get a quest to unlock your Chocobo as a companion.
