1017 Statistics

All bashing, hate, spite, and white knighting aside.

Besides the fact that we all know that this is an issue, I would like to somehow help SE figure out exactly how many people are being affected by this problem. Mostly because based on the threads I've read, there is really no way to tell. Since 'likes' are unique, this may help the situation.

People posting all over the forums does not really help anyone in the long run, so here is what I propose.

If the 1017 error has prevented/is preventing you from playing and enjoying a game you purchased to play, I simply ask that you 'like' this thread, and feel free to bump it. I'm not asking for a debate on why this is or isn't a huge deal. I'm not trying to spark a war between the white knights and the trolls of this here digital world. I would just like a unified thread where the mods/devs can go say; "Ok we see this many unique likes, which means this is how many people are being affected." I am by no means saying that this will do squat to help our situation, nor am I saying that they do not have said figure. However having said 'statistic', in black and white so to speak, can only help.

Hopefully if we get enough people involved, and show that the number of individuals suffering is larger than they thought, we'll get some kind of feedback or maybe even an ETA on a fix.
