What exactly are these broken weapons? I am in Uhgamaro mines and I am not sure what I am looking for. Do normal enemies drop ? I've been all over the entire mine. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Broken weapons are found in coffers. Check your quest traker map for the area in which to search.

It drops from Wanderer's Palace. All of the class weapon materials drop from there, with a mix of various crafting materials which can be gathered outside such as Darksteel Nuggets and so on. The Spear Head for the Relic turn-in comes from Wanderer's Palace.

Thanks for the response. My friend claims that I can't just use the lance that drops and fuze it with the 2 materia. He claims that it only works if I craft it or buy it. Is that true?

Yes. Don't confuse any weapons from the dungeon with the base weapon. The lance itself does not drop. What drops is a material used to craft it. The bloody lance head is just an item not a weapon.

Also I've updated the recipie section a little more to hopefully make it clearer. Still needing clarification on PLD and SMN materia

We just cleared Amdapor Keep but the orange circle is still on my map with only the exit in the vicinity. I'm afraid to exit. Will it give me the glyph upon exiting?

EDIT: Yes it does, though gives no confirmation until you leave and look at the quest status.

Thank you but I have another question. I talked to the guy by waking sands then Rowena and finally gerolt. It gave me a black window message about relics but I never got anything in my tracker or journal.

I am wondering do I need to complete the blm quest again or is it glitches? In 1.0 I was on collecting seals so I should be good shouldn't I?
