Yes, I can confirm that. You neeed 900 Allagan Tomestones of Philosophy to buy some oil from the Darklight vendor. Wish I could sell back this cowl now!^ ^;

I believe you can check your progress point prior to finishing main quest and a class job quests. go to journal, completed quests, legacy quests, and it should be the 1st one (Arms of Eld) then it would mention the weapon name that you started and the step you are currently on. I can confirm this cause my friend was Step 7 and got his quest and was on the ifrit fight. It says im on step two, so im assuming im at chimera, cause im sure i handed in my weapon.

I believe BLM mobs for step 10 are the same as they seem to be for WHM.

I have 2 questions, are you 100% the summoner quest will work with the casting book?
Also I've heard you need Thavairian Mist from the Tomestomes, is this false or is it the next weapon?

Does one need to be at a certain step to get items to drop from Wanderer's palace or is it dropped there regardless?

12 - Obtain White-Hot Ember from Ifrit (Hard)

For number 11 at least you need to use the correct job, since you have to kill it while wielding the unfinished relic. the last ones i dont think so.

Also, did hydra with 3 healers the 2nd time around. I went clerical stance and helped melt the wavyrn. Dots do a lot of damage under clerical stance
