I've been getting this error, too. I only get it once a day, however. That's because every time I get it, I can't get back in -- 1017'd for hours on end.
Hugely frustrating.

Actually, I don't really think this is SQEX Dev Team's fault... This error happened to me 10 times only this night. It's so annoying I got pissed off and reformated my PC in order to clean everything up and only install the drivers and Final Fantasy XIV to play. The error happened again other three times. So I went to do a research... In many programming forums I saw that Microsoft is blaming the game developers for this Runtime error, but the users are experiencing the same thing with Internet Explorer, Mass Effect 3, Star Wars: Battlefront, Diablo III, Final Fantasy XIV, Star Wars: Jedi Academy; and many many other softwares, on Windows XP, Vista and 7. I guess there are too many developers involved in this to be their fault and not Microsoft's :/
I read many posts telling us to try to open the game from the setup folder, and Open as Administrator. For some games that works, for others, that doesn't.
C'est pour cela que je suis née
It is their fault....
Cause:
This error occurs when your application indirectly calls a pure virtual member function in a context where a call to the function is not valid. In most cases, the compiler detects this and reports the error when building the application. But depending on how your code is written, sometimes the problem is detected only at run-time.
The error occurs when you indirectly call a pure virtual function within the context of a call to the constructor or destructor of an abstract base class.
It is a program issue.
Got it too, each day 2-3 times, yesterday 5 times, it seems that every day i get it more often. Already posted here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-C-R6025-error, but dunno why this is on german forums now o.o
Think fast, Live slow
Bump!
I hope this get fixed with the next maintenance x.x
Think fast, Live slow

Happens to me almost on a daily basis. Got to play for a grand total of half an hour today thanks to getting this error twice. Both times I was using Gridania's Aetheryte system to get into Old Gridania. Doesn't happen every time I use them, but it only happens there.
If the congestion problems didn't exist I'd brush it off, but this is turning into Errorzea..
6th time....
