Reporting people via the chatbox

Was about to make a post about the very same.

This really really need to be implemented. Another reason is that its way too cumbersome to have to actually write the spammers name in order to blacklist them. It's not like spammers have quick and easy names to write.

Not only they shout like ALL THE TIME, but they also whispers to you a lot. It's only been a couple of days and I already can't stand them.

A quick work around to blacklisting peoples with weird and long names.

Click them in the chat and hit "Reply". /tell playername will appear in the chat box, delete /tell and replace it for /blacklist add playername.

/blacklist - Show blacklist.
/blacklist add “PC name” – Add a PC to your blacklist.
/blacklist remove “PC name” – Remove a PC from your blacklist.

Agreed to all above. I didn't see this thread and started another, but extremely this! I right-clicked to blacklist them, and it's not an option. It should be a quick and easy option, especially if they're going to spam continuously.

Blacklists have limits. As it worked in WoW, this feature did not take up space on the blacklist and instead went off a separate thing.

I absolutely agree, a feature like this would be fantastic. It's a shame I'm getting whispers on top of shouts even after the EA is over.

I'm adding my name to the list of people who would like to see a right-click report/block function added to chat. Having to manually add these RMT spammers to your blacklist is a pain in the ass, and only gets half the job done. I understand that there are bigger fish to fry right now, but I think this is a feature that should be added to the QoL to-do list.
