Worlds currently not taking new players

Hello there, i myself am in the server Balmung, and have had friends asking me why when they tried to join my server it said the server wasnt allowing anymore new characters, so i thought i would post this.

Is it because of the amount of players on the realm at that present moment, or is it from the amount of characters on the realm created, as ive been able to get in to this realm after receiving the error myself, so it would be interesting to know why.

However, even if a server has character creation unlocked, if the server is full, you still can't make one.

Last time I checked, there were zero EU or NA servers to make characters on. Zero!

Most or all of the servers should have character creation unlocked at some point, since right now the max population number has been cut back.

last time i tried to make a character, all NA/EU servers were not allowing them.

They have locked creation on certain servers. They sent out an announcement this morning.

that thread is actually somewhat incorrect at midgardsormr has character creation locked as well

Since I couldn't login to Malboro earlier I decided to try to create a new character on an open server in the meantime. ALL of the NA/EU servers were locked for character creation. Just checked again, and there were a few open so I created a character on Exodus. Finished the character creation and.............. 1017.
