Yeah..about that... I remember being MT for Titan HM and EX, and when the bombs popped there was always this lil sweet spot on the edge to stand that was close to original tanking spot, and caused you to miss the explosions. Yeah, lets just say I've accidently walked off the platform a few times lol

Last night we get to the boss at Copperbell Mines and my cat jumps on my lap/keyboard and turns the entire HUD off. I had no idea how to turn it back on at the time. Luckily we made it through the fight alive. Scroll Lock turns the HUD off/on.

My cat has been named Ser-wipes us-alot (his full name is Ser-pounce-Alot) due to doing this often. This also includes jumping on the ps3 and turning it off during runs aswell.

Yeah sure we're the stalwart guardians of the party and we protect the squishies from harm but we're also human too and humans tend to derp a lot.

So this is a fun thread for all tanks who've ever derped with a little herp (or alot) to share their stories.

I'll start off, I was tanking titan and I knew something was a little off due to how low my HP pool was and I realised I was tanking without defiance after the wipe we had previously and forgot to turn it on... I noticed this at the last 25% of the fight, props to my healer for keeping me alive the whole time haha.

Started playing since relaunch on ACN got to 20 and joined Grand Company, got a quest to unlock Darkhold so thought yeah why not. Now how hard can it be. Switched to my 50 WAR that I haven't used in over a year, launched DF and got party right away. Proceeded to wipe numerous times and had no clue what I was doing. Everyone quit and I have decided not to burden anyone with my WAR skills until I relearn how to play it lol.

On PLD while tanking Titan. Noob-ass BLM and WHM keep getting knocked off the edge because they can't dodge Landslide. While typing and telling them they suck ass(I was nice the first 8 times they wiped us), I don't realize the WHM is behind me and I get hit with landslide. Go flying off the edge while face-palming.

I attempted to incorporate signs into my routine for the first time.... completely lost hate and looked very stupid...I was so ashamed /shame

Happened to me too. I usually dont mark. Tried it for first time in Brayflox and I couldn't get into a good routine. I died and then the healer. I had to quit (SORRY to the DPS that were in that group). First time I ever did that and still feel bad for quitting.
