I went from running an Asus RT-AC66U to my Asus RT-N66U (AC Technology clearly isn't ready) and things went back to normal. No lag, perfect gameplay and such.

Netgear DGND3300 here - been spot on with games like EVE, WoT, War Thunder and LoL
