    Not a Sky user myself. I've been having lag issues since early November. Not sure what exactly is causing it but the only game that is affected by the lag is Final Fantasy XIV. I had to download WTFast in order to have the game be playable, but even with it I'm still getting a constant Error 9000. Massive lag spikes followed by a disconnect. I can't do group content any more. :\ Frustrating, honestly, that Square doesn't appear to be taking any of these issues seriously.

    ISP: Time Warner Cable (Upstate New York)
    Occurs randomly throughout the day, though often once every half an hour.

    That link takes you to the sky "live web chat" without going through the "waiting" (It's just came live so thought id get in there before the mass influx of people so you guys can web chat them)

    Thank the lord its not just me. Sky have been terrible past week. My game freezes in duty until I 90k so annoying.

    Also it can't be se. My phone constantly drops connection and when my bf is playing league (wired) he loses connection too.

    Course it can be SE.My son plays 3 diff online games and he's not affected at all.The Virgin media customers in my FC aren't affected either.It's got to be some compatability issue between the SE and Sky/BT/TalkTalk.

    For the people that haven't seen it (and are on Sky), someone started a thread in the Sky forums about this a couple of days ago: http://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Fibre-Br...1581935#M18172

    A recent post there says that apparently Plusnet customers were having this same problem about a month ago, but Plusnet managed to fix it. Here's the Plusnet thread: http://community.plus.net/forum/inde...118895.96.html

    "The traffic that's routed for Final Fantasy is of a specific type, which some other games also run as, but not all. We're going to see if the changes we do make, make much of a difference, then great. If there aren't any improvements, we'll take this back and look at this further." Apparently whatever they did fixed it for (most of) their customers. Level3 servers are also mentioned at some point in the thread.

    Needless to say, there are fixes that can be applied if Square-Enix and Sky/Other affected ISPs actually look into it. At the very least, this is a good example of how companies can actually get involved and respond to their customers, which unfortunately we're not seeing with either Square-Enix or Sky (yet!).

    I'm in Toronto and experiencing the same problems, so this issue isn't isolated to the EU. Kinda terrible how they haven't acknowledged this but here's hoping they have it fixed by Monday.

    Well, I just resorted to paying for a month of Pingzapper as I have got nowhere with Sky and SE are not answering us here on the forums.

    Hopefully the problem will be solved by the time my month is up. I will be keeping my eye on all these threads to see if it does get fixed.

    As of yesterday and today 17th 18th january 2014 I lag horribly. RIGHT NOW Im having trouble even connecting to the game. 2002 error and 90k ofc.
    I do not feel that I want to pay for yet another game that can not or will not provide good servers to their costumers.
    This is just ridiculous the amount of times I have trouble with this game compared to other games I play/played.
