    I kinda feel this is an SE problem.My daughter has talktalk in her uni house and is having the same issue since the same time, and there's BT customers affected too.So there are other players other than sky users affected as well.When I called Sky last night , the lady said the tech team will be investigating it and SE also said this when I rang them last night.

    That's interesting. It's good to know that people have been told it is being investigated. Others are being treated as though they are the only person that has complained of the issue, and that nothing can be done etc.

    It's also strange that a large majority of players remain unaffected by the problem. If it was purely an issue with Square-Enix's servers then the majority (if not all) of the players in the game would be experiencing the issue. This is why it seems more likely that there's an issue with the route the data takes to get from the players/ISPs to the servers (a problem with one of the level3 servers that people have been commenting about, perhaps).

    Talk Talk and Sky use BT lines.

    I'm going to phone them and ask what have they done in the last few days workwise on their lines that could have started all this off.I'll repost with any findings.

    I was talking to a sky rep for close to 2 hours "Juan" He checked everything out and said it was 100% on SE part. He's tried changing my broadband to low ping "gaming latency" or some B/S. C'mon SE 3 days is more than enough.

    Virgin Cable uses their own lines, I think they also use BT for their non cable lines, I can't find the info on their website though so I may be wrong.

    This issue is also affecting World of Warcraft players and I would imagine other MMO games, it is due to severe packet loss as you have mentioned



    I have been sat waiting in a queue for their live chat help every night this week with no reply for well over 4 hours. Unsure of where to go next
