That is a separate problem with p2p throttling that SE said they are working on. I'm guessing you're on either BT or EE?Hello,
I am in the UK.
I can play fine all day but as evening arrives (usually around 7PM my time) I find myself often unable to move and there is often ne response to key presses for up to 5 minutes.
What is extra frustrating is I can see others seemingly moving around me normally.
I hope that this has been noticed and worked on.
Thanks

Been having lagspikes since friday, thought it was due to alot more players during the week end. But its now monday and I'm still having lagspikes of doom.
It was fine earlier last week.
Name of ISP - Midcontinent Communications
Character name: Tip Topper
Country of Residence - United States
It seems to be happenings at all times during the daytime hours.
I have the same problem, copy pasta from general discussion
Recently, around the same time that Amdapor Keep queues have reached the 30+ minute mark for simply reserving the instance I have noticed insane rubber banding in most duty instances where my 'receiving' becomes 0 and everything stops. Then after an indefinite amount of time, everything fast forwards to 'catch-up' with what happened during the receiving 0 period. This is in addition to 90000 errors when the receiving 0 persists for too long.
My question is, is there anything I can do about this? Is it a problem on my end? Square's? 95% of the time my game experience is flawless, but trying to tank when you can't see what is going on is impossible in hard mode instances. Try kiting Garuda when you're the only thing you can see moving.
I tried buying a new router to see if that was the issue, but no change. I'm able to use services like PSN, XBL, internet browsing, etc. all without issue. The problem seems contained to FF XIV. I know there are other threads in the technical support thread that are discussing this issue, but there seem to be conflicting reports as to what cause the 'rubber banding' problem.
bump bump bump
Its been 14 days, DO SOMETHING SE
Hi. Haven't been able to play the past 2 days but when i logged in today im constantly getting DCed. Its like the connections is coming and going then leads to a DC. I'm guessing this is the right place to post about it. Not sure what info to leave.
ISP At&t Uverse in Dallas, Texas.
Diabolos server.
Same issue, started after the server expansion fix. Receive goes from high 5k to 0 during play at random intervals. DC, Verizon FIOS.
Hi guys, i'm not trying to make grandmother suck eggs but... All my lag and 9k issues were fixed by opening the ports for the game and bypassing wifi and just plugging cat 5 straight into the router.
Hope this helps.
As much as I feel your pain, I do like that quote.
I'm hoping it'll get better by the time I start doing serious instances. Right now I'm getting away with it because my lag has good timing or because I somehow manage to predict it.
