Problems with connection (R0) lag

That's depressing, I hope it gets sorted out soon, after all the errors and inability to log on, this is a real kick in the pants as it's not very fun playing by myself, which for me is really the only option as joining dungeons with this sort of lag/freezing is rendering me useless.

Yeah pretty nice how 1-2 day before fixing the log in servers we get another bug even worst than the error 1017 , i miss that error now , i do not mind spamming my 0 key for 15min to get in and then play the game with no problem , now yes i can log in with no error 1017 but when i get in i lag and get disconnect error 90000 maximum 5-10min after getting in the game. I just hope this can be fixed soon i am so tire of this right now -.-

Talked to my ISP, basically they said the problem is with the ISP's routing to the server's network.

From my understanding based on some news (i can't find the new post now) and reading on other forums. This is not a problem that SE can do much about besides complain to the ISP, because it's a problem with the ISPs routing and/or throttling.

I have a similar problem at work, with our own hosted servers. Every now and the i'm unable to access the servers because something is going wrong with a switch belong to my ISP not anything to do with our servers.

This is the nature of the internet. If this is really the first time you guys have run across this. I'll be amazed.

That's not what it is, unless multiple ISPs from multiple parts of the world all decided to throttle FFXIV all around the same exact time frame.

Apologies first of all as I'm not all good with this kind of thing, but are you saying that essentially since it's not an issue with SE, it's something we should be complaining to our ISP (i'm with Virgin Media) about? and if worse comes to the worst, SE kindly complain to our ISP and nothing is done, our best bet is to change our ISP?

Same problem on Cactuar using RCN cable in Chicago. Friends in my region are experiencing the issue as well.
