A Live Letter is Needed

I am addressing this directly to Naoki Yoshida. It is getting to the point where you need to conduct a live Letter From the Producer sometime prior to the start of billing. This letter must be for the people who populate the NA/EU servers. The topic of this letter must concern the situation with the NA/EU servers, past, present and future. You should have an interpreter for at least English. I do not make this post lightly but you are beginning to develop a serious credibility problem with your potential subscriber base
on these servers. If the NA/EU player base is as large as you say it is you will want to do everything possible to retain that base. Direct communications with NA/EU player will go along way towards that goal.

I agree 100%. I would also like to see them establish SOMEONE as a community relations leader, to who we can talk to via twitter, the forums, etc. My biggest issue with SE, in particular FFXIV, right now is not the bugs, but the serious lack of communication to us.

As you can see I generated this post at the start of EA. It is now more imperative then ever that Yoshida-san address this issue with his player base in NA/EU. It is now the start of the Official Launch and the problem persists with no solutions in sight. There are less then 14 days remaining in the "Welcome Back" campaign. I, for one, will not pay for a subscription that I cannot use and will cancel my automatic payment if the situation is not rectified by 9 Sept. Yoshida-san, you must address this issue with the NA/EU community directly, at the earliest possible moment. IMO it must be face to face, so to speak. A crafted letter will not suffice. Fail to do so and many others will take the same approach as me.

agreed, the worst thing about this is having them not even acknowledge the issue. All we get is we are restricting server log on like it is no big deal and they are not stranding thousands maybe even tens of thousands of players.

There's always JPN server and im pretty sure they are doing fine there.
