Yoshi-P said the 1.17 patch was being split, 1.17 = 70% and 1.7a = 30%, he never mentioned what data will be split but here is hoping its the rest of companies + Chocobo's

He said 1.17a would be out a week or two later so maybe end of April for companies (hopefully).

Note that it DID NOT SAY patch 1.17a. So...I just read the patch notes, and couldn't sleep at all last night, and where in the patch notes did it say anything about companies? I think SE just totally punk'd me. -sigh- Who else is upset that companies probably won't be in this patch, unless ninja'd in and left out of patch notes.

The quest chain I did in Limsa was pretty cool. (Don't read my post any further if you don't want spoilers)


Basically you have to go around and gather intel to see what the best way of uniting the city together. It gives lore of the past companies and the methods they used to rally everyone to fight together.

Honestly, really, really excited about the coming war. It's like they're hinting at airship and boat battles on the sea and a bunch of other cool stuff. This game is going to be real good soon, just you wait.

I hope so. Because that is the one thing I'm looking forward to most for the game. It'll at least be a different variation from NM grind/levequests.

Quick update, i didnt see anything really cool since the update for 1.17a , tho the actual patch size was 3Mb larger then the previous patch 1.17 so if size means anything who knows. But what i do know is this, i cant figure out the eggs event, ive done all the quest. and im tired of levequest lol. Something soon, would really help out, or i feel another hiatus of 6 months coming on.

The easter quest is pretty easy to do at this point. Go talk to the npc, talk to the spriggan or other players, find the location/area where the spriggan egg thieves are, beat em up and take their eggs, go cash them in for a helmet.

"Come mid-May, the vanguards of the Grand Companies will be the first to brave Eorzea’s newly discovered dungeons. Their preliminary reports will be made available on the Grand Companies page on the Lodestone, so be sure to check it out!"

Heh, I'm so sick of reading how we, the customer, who paid them our damn money (btw my money is lacking nothing in content) and got punked!

What does thier corprate page say? NVM. It took all I could muster to waste this many keystrokes on these guys.
