So some clarification here. The game has launched just fine no doom and gloom. The game is working as intended. 1017 and 2002 are not errors but part of the game to help ensure a quality experience. Yoshi-P does not owe anyone a thing, he has in fact, done more than required already with FFXIV:ARR. Just because YOU cannot log in does mean the game is broke, SE hates NA/EU and favors Japan, or you should get anything extra. If anything the way NA/EU players are acting you should not be allowed to play this game at all, but Yoshi-P is not a child like everyone here complaining is. You do not have to play this game, no one is forcing you. Also, if you really wanted to solve 1017 for yourself you could start over on a Japan based server (like main other have done despite their progression lost.)

Don't forget entitled. All of these entitled young children who think that as soon as they buy a game they should just automatically be able to play it whenever they want.
