Ya the music no longer fading is a step back, along with bigger UI health bars and such, rly odd indeed. Some people play on low resolutions too so UI alrdy takes up a huge space xD Will be worse now for themSome changes are for the better, some other changes... I wonder why they did it (i.e. [dev1047] Battle music now cuts in and out, rather than fading in and out.)
I'm still not sure where we are heading with these changes, but generally, it looks ok. I'll see after playing a while how it feels.![]()
personally, i didnt like the music fading out, bc i was unsure if i was still in combat (some mob aggroed me i didnt see, or the mob i was killing had a lil tiny bit of life left that i didnt see while i was looking for the next one etc)
but thats just personal preference i guess
but i like the new changes, i feel like by summer we are going to be playing a vastly different game then the one we are playing now and im gettin a lil excited

Hehe I know what you mean, and these new sidequests are loads better so far in writing and everything else then the first batch thankfully^^ Expected as much naturally but this patch as a whole is a pretty nice lil update from what I seen so far... Now if only they'd let us turn our own name off floating above our heads (while keeping others on!) I'd be happy with current UI options hehe xDpersonally, i didnt like the music fading out, bc i was unsure if i was still in combat (some mob aggroed me i didnt see, or the mob i was killing had a lil tiny bit of life left that i didnt see while i was looking for the next one etc)
