[dev1004] Upon meeting the objectives of a main scenario or class quest, an exclamation point (!) icon will appear over the NPC offering the quest. An exclamation point icon will also appear over the heads of NPCs with whom a player must speak to advance a quest.
WHY? I was glad the exclamation points where on the map/mini map only, why over the heads? If you want to make it easier why not just have them all visible on the city map??? :S
I dont know whats so wrong with FFxiv besides the fact no one seams to understand that its not ffx 11 so get over it. they have made a lot greet changes to the game still a lot to add but don't mess with the class system its not broken its not ffxi, only thing in this game worth saving. add some content or if you make it for the people are not playing rather than the people who do i play another game. ARCHeAGE looks like it could be good
Those buffs are most likely there to keep the party sizes in future content under control:
-It'll be harder to do 4-7man content with less than 4, because it'll be designed around having 4-7 people with the 5% buff.
-It'll be harder to do 8man content with less than 8 people, because it'll be designed around having 8 people with the 10% buff.
I'm sorry that your already soloable/duoable Notorious Monsters that drop junk are going to remain easy to kill. Says nothing about the future direction of the game, however. Especially when we're undergoing battle, party and job changes, and there isn't any content that has been made with these new systems in mind yet.

Premature raging is hilarious.
LOLPATCH 1.17
[dev1043] The following UI features have been enlarged:
* Player HP/MP/TP gauges
* Target HP gauges
* Party member HP/MP gauges
I better be able to readjust these, or my screen is going to be more cluttered than needed.
And after logging in after the update, I can see it they did it decently. Twice as thick as the exp bars, not stupidly large otherwise.
