Taking a wild stab at it, but i bet there changing it so that 8/8 party will take up around the same space as a 15/15 party use to as far as names hp/mp panels use to.

Remember how we loved yoshi for the new 20 NMs, new quests and such?
That's all there, with plenty more. AND TOGGLES for those who complain about it.

Well it's a good patch, not quiet the super one everyone hoped for, though 20 nm's alone is a good start I would say, lets hope that there is alot more good stuff to come :>



If anyone expected a "super" patch (whatever it means), after they spelled out for us pretty much all this patch entailed (and even more what it did not entail) way beforehand, then he simply can't read.


no full screen tab even in this patch /cry ... (and i don't see anything about companies.. maybe they're in 1.17a ? )
anyway it's a nice one this time!

can any one tell me whats wrong with the class system? i think there would be bigger problems like a party search system that works better. recruiting dos not work a dam on my server! i much rather see some more content to the game before they start changing the combat system i think a few tweaks be ok but not ffxi class system

The "exclusive" skills are nice and all but really could be used for everyone if their class wasn't tied to a weapon.
Everyone is a DD, everyone can play a healer, THM/CON only benefits from AoE/Conal and 5x more MP.
They mentioned that they want to change the combat system before going through and adding a significant amount of content.
i disagree: yes you can all heal and do al the same things that having a sub job would allow in FFXI, maybe vamping it so you cant use lv 2 spells at rank 10 or rank1, but to say you cant make you character unique i don't know if its true, not every one has the time to level all there jobs to 50 in 6 months
