well look at what your doing your egging on pointless insults to a comment that in no way shape or form needed the hostility.
do you get that? I know the process of how storylines in ga,es are made it is no different trhen any movie. writing the basic story and quest outline takes time. then making a cs fit what they need to do takes time thats all I said.
again i never said" there will be no miniquest cs" I just said don't expect them
If ppl expect them abd come to find out there are none they are going to blow up in the forums and "rage quit". I was just trying ta be nice buddy.
and again not my fault you take a game or comments so seriously as to instult or egg on the insulting of someone else. Which does make you a troll aks rude person.
The best thing to do at this point is to drop the subject altogether.
Mistakes where made on both sides and there is unnecessary aggression all around. Take a deep breath and walk away.
Just because you think you know how things work doesn't mean you know how SE works.well look at what your doing your egging on pointless insults to a comment that in no way shape or form needed the hostility.

I rip the axe from the head Covered in blood and brains Leave the body lying dead Ready to strike again
My sword cuts through clothes and skin Like a hot knife cuts through snow I smile as the bastard screams When I twist my sword
Sword in my hand Axe on my side Valhalla awaits me Soon I will die Bear skin on my back Wolf jaw on my head Valhalla awaits me When I'm dead
Viking Job Please!
So much hostility... Let me straighten out this whole CG confusion. There's basically 2 types. The very nicely looking, long, drawn out method used in the movies, where every bit of detail is hand crafted frame by frame, and the technique where the game engine renders the scene. The latter takes very little time to do. At the least, they can use premade animations and camera tricks to put together a scene very quickly, which I can live with. At most, they can use motion capture to create new animation, and that doesn't take long either.
right i know that much but there is stuff they need to do before actually making the cs. but i wasn't boadting anything. So much hostility... Let me straighten out this whole CG confusion. saying don;t expect isn't saying there will be none.
I was merely countering your comment that "rendering cs takes too long" which is out of touch with real-time rendering. It's in Square's best interests to not pre-render unless they're making a "The Spirits Within" mini-film.ok why the flipping heck on our green earth does someone have any right to insult someone over nicely saying, don;t have high expectations.
I never stated ever that these new quests will not have any.
if they do great
if not great just don;t blow up over it. as I did nicely say there may nor be any.
FF is known for it's pre-rendered cutscenes in the later generation games, so it would be in their best interest to continue this trend if Final Fantasy XIV is to be "Final Fantasy", especially for storyline missions, which is why they developed the Crystal Tools engine, mainly for cinematics.
They did that for FFXI's introductory video, but didn't do any pre-rendered CGIs for the expansions or other content related to XI - at least to my knowledge.FF is known for it's pre-rendered cutscenes in the later generation games, so it would be in their best interest to continue this trend if Final Fantasy XIV is to be "Final Fantasy", especially for storyline missions, which is why they developed the Crystal Tools engine, mainly for cinematics.
The trend is the same here with XIV. There's a reason for that. The Crystal Tools engine is essentially a glorified, super-powerful cutscene-capable game engine. Just look at FF13 for that. There weren't a lot of pre-rendered CGIs in that compared to previous iterations, which is probably the direction Square Enix is going - they want to push the envelope technologically in how they do cutscenes.
Great point. I'm not as in touch with FF as you all but I've noticed this too. Great example of how tailored a game engine can be. If every cutscene *was* high quality and pre-rendered I'd be totally watching it with no arguments. My point was pre-rendered clips do indeed take time and, perhaps, Square would lay off them for a while. Saying it wasn't in their interests was too harsh.FF is known for it's pre-rendered cutscenes in the later generation games, so it would be in their best interest to continue this trend if Final Fantasy XIV is to be "Final Fantasy", especially for storyline missions, which is why they developed the Crystal Tools engine, mainly for cinematics.
Actually making CS is 100% different from CGI most of the motions and animations are already in the game all it requires is to write the script and crap unless it's new animations and usually they don't add that until a expansion comes out IE. wing's of the goddess CS were a lot more in detail than Zilart. I don't understand why you talk like you know everything when you know a lot about nothing. Also you read about 1/4 of a post then ask or reply to a tiny portion of the post. It's very easy to get a high post count when you don't make any sense I guess. I admit some of my post are rather dumb but you, You take the cake, for you the cake is not a lie.any cs in a game is based on cgi of sorts the game is still cgi >.>
I took computer aided dracting which is a step in the prosess. To build 1 items grid can take severl hours or days. You have to make sure every line is connected to the smallest measurement or it will not look right.
again it was not even a comment worth reportable insults.
would it make you feel better that you have no cs expectations then threre aree some? or cs expectations and find out there is none.
again even in gaming cs take time to make and that time is longer then 2 mnths.
