Why don't Legacy players also get the pre-order bonuses?

The early access code is a separate code that gives early access and the digital items. It can be applied to a legacy account with the same methods used as applying it to a new account using different options during entry. Just apply it to the legacy account, it's really just an addon code instead of a new account code.

You go to Amazon, you preorder, you get your preorder code, you apply that to your LEGACY account, you get your items as a Legacy. Done.

I am 1.0 I done this, My friend is Legacy they done this.

If you really need to be told how to preorder a game then you cannot be helped.

So why would Legacy player not get the preorder bonuses when they had ALREADY purchased to the game before ARR.

Essentially you're saying, "You preordered too early. Buy a newer version of the same game."

OP: If you want the pre-order bonus items you have to pre-order. I pre-ordered for the pre-order items and applied it to my account. Saving the PC CE code for a relative. You can't have everything on a silver plater.

I pre-ordered it. Still haven't found out how to apply the code to my legacy account, but I'm patient on that.

OP has a point. I'm normally against the Legacy players should get more train of thought, but I, like many others, did pre-order the game years ago. If I already pre-ordered the game once, why should I have to re-pre-order to get the same status I already have?

I got the pre-order code working. I was trying to tell whether or not I can get the CE bonus items on my legacy account.

I'm a Legacy player. I preordered CE at the time of 1.0 AND I preordered another CE for 2.0 (boxed version) just to support FFXIV:AAR. Yet my ordered which I placed back in May was canceled by zavvi due to an error with the price display. They asked me to replace the order (which I did on the 26th and was still called pre-order) yet I didn't receive any pre-order code. That is to say there are problems with pre-ordered items even for Legacy players that actually bought a new game again.

EDIT: I pre-ordered the 2.0 for the second time on the 25th actually. Just checked zavvi mail.

I'm legacy myself but this is retarded.
I preordered the 1.0 CE and got the perks for it back in 2010, if you want perks for 2013 you have to get it again.
Please just stop posting, all you do is make legacy members look greedy....
