Class and Level Restrictions on "Equipment"

All current Equipment and new up coming should have a level and Class Restriction. Goals are a big part of every game having a level restriction aswell as class restriction gives you a great goal which you'll spend time leveling to meet. Specifying the gear to class as-well gives class uniqueness which will make those classes's feel different from the others. The ability to see what class everyone is specifically is great.

All they have to do is the class that favors the gear would be lock for others. Let say

"Dodore Doublet" Only class can use it would be BSM ARM GLD ALC MIN BTN. They also would have to fix a few problems seeing how some gear make no sense on what class it favors. Like why would GLD use "Dodore Doublet" for any reason? Every MMO have some type of Class and level Restriction. I understand FFXIV is trying to be a hybrid class but that no longer working out is it? Top of that if it doesn't favor you it wont even help you at all. So there's no real reason not to have class,Level Restrictions, The players that are against this are the mithra race and players that want to show of there gear/looks.

They can Set a system where you can wear a Equipment 5 Level lower then you But that about it. So let's say "Dodore Doublet" is Rank 40 you allow to use it 35-40 which is good enough in my book.

hehe ya. GLD is goldsmith. GLA is Gladiator.

I got confused by that alot in the beginning. Also took me a while to figure out wth TAN was.

The REAL quest is however, why would BTN and MIN wear a dodore doublet? or any doublet for that matter. No gathering stats on it whatsoever.
