Why even que us as healers? we cant do much at level 30. its not until 40 that we can heal properly...all the dungeons have some strong dots that cannot be removed by anything other then a Conj/White mage....

Hmm, I am extremely surprised to see such post.
SCH is awesome healer even below 30... Hate control is so much better when you can do 1st cures with pixie.
You don't really need Esuna/Leeches until later on anyway.

Many WHMs I have seen just stand around waiting for tank to get hit. SCH casts DoTs on all mobs and while I am getting my Miasma off, my pixie is making sure the tank doesn't get too low while I am middle of the cast.

This is what I was worried about as SCH and hearing how bad they were..but I took up the job and am into my 40's. So far I haven't had a major problem healing with exception of being new to an area and finding out the hard way not to do things. I was really worried when I was going to do the lv.32 dungeon without esuna. But I really did just fine making sure AoE regen was on and...just healing and winning. Maybe it gets worse at 50

It only get worse in certain dungeons that has mechanism to force fairy to die. SCH cant heal properly without fairy.
Other than that, SCH fine on everything...

And PLD can't tank properly without a shield... *eyeroll*

Pixie makes sch better and allows cures when you are running away from area damage but if the pixie dies, sch can keep your party alive.
Plus swiftcast>summon gets pixie back in an instant.
