It's a valid observation, and one that deserves a response from SE. The current comeback from the genuflecting fanbois is that the JP servers are intended for more than just Japan. Of course, they're unable to explain why those servers are virtually barren, while the NA/EU servers are practically unavailable 24/7.
One can only assume that SE was either a) completely clueless about how many NA/EU customers they were going to have (doubtful, given the fact that they had pre-order numbers), or b) so full of themselves that they didn't give a white rat's ass in a snowstorm about the login issues they knew their NA/EU customers were going to face.
Server issues aside, I've been able to play a Marauder to lvl 19 on one of the JP servers, and the game really does deserve its AAA rating. It's a shame that such a beautiful game is being overshadowed by poor business decisions. (i.e. not enough investment in the infrastructure)
Not to sound like a fan boy. I have my own complaints but in response. I believe the JP Servers are meant to handle JP and Surrounding Countries.
Should probably have labeled it Asia instead of Japan.
Nonetheless ... whoever was in charge of server distribution should seriously be looking at getting keelhauled and quartered for such a stupendously bad guess.
either way, they dont seem to be having many issues if at all on those servers but the NA/EU servers are getting hit really hard. so something has obviously gone wrong but the question is what? if there servers are actually handling quite a lot of people in asia and not just japan, i figure china, korea, and japan all combined probably have a bigger population then america and maybe EU but dont quote me on that one. so the question is what the F%^&?
