Unable to interact with environment

Description: At times, suddenly my character will be unable to interact with the environment. Trying to interact with NPCs or Aetherytes yield the message "too far away". Trying to leave the zone through the blue dotted lines says "Unable to leave the area"; teleporting returns to same location. I can see other players and monsters and npcs (although it seems to be variable; sometimes I cannot see anyone else). The first few times it occurred I was unable to deal damage to monsters. Any time I cast spells, the animation appeared but no damage was dealt or no carbuncle appeared when summoned. The first several times, monsters seemed to be unaware of my presence. However, the past three times the bug has happened, the monsters are able to damage me, although I cannot damage them or heal myself. This has resulted in me dying several times. I have not be able to "get out" of the bug other than to exit the game and log back in (of course with the 1017 error for most login attempts). Upon logging back in, I am generally in the area I was in before the bug occurred.

Steps:
1. I have not identified what triggers the bug; logging out and eventually logging back in seems to fix it temporarily

I'm having this issue as well.

that "bug" it seems to be a really big lag spike but seeing that you have fiber cable with a good down/up its strange.
maybe your ISP doesn't like FFXIV for some reason (I still remember when I had to call my ISP a lot of times to help me with my 10K ping on WOW wich was on their end) try playing at differents hours to see if happens maybe its because your IRL zone is congested when you play at that gives you lag

I'm having the same issue on my Arcanist. It's not the ISP as my wife sitting next to me on with an identical PC setup on the same ISP is not having an issue with it at all (Thaumaturge). It happens every 15-30 min, which can be extremely annoying given that I have to sit through 20 min of 1017 every time it happens.
