Part of the problem is scumbags never logging out and the game lacking a feature to auto-log them out when they have been afk long enough.

Do you ever consider WHY the "scumbags" as you call them don't log out? BECAUSE IF YOU DO, YOU CAN'T GET BACK IN FOR DAYS!
So, that's why it is tempting to do it, we want to PLAY for what WE PAY for!
Try not to be so harsh Draco...![]()
I agree with both of you guys. People don't log out, because then they can't get back in. But that just escalates the issue. It's like a cycle... I have seen several people saying they've been afk for HOURS and weren't DC'd....
But when I get in, I'm scared to log out. ;___; Never know when you can get in again if you do! So I understand. That said, I had to relog for my internet and haven't been able to get on since... and it's been 4 hours. :c
My first forum post!
And it's in response to 1017!
Every little voice counts
The point, however, is that if people didn't do that in the first place, we wouldn't have this problem. It's one of those funny things, I forget the word for it, where the reason for the problem is also the outcome of the problem. Anyways, idlers are standard in MMO's, and when you launch a game, that is not a thing you want on day one. You need something in place to kick them out, even if only for the first week or two, just to keep the server traffic moving.
It is incredibly frustrating. I had to leave in the middle of a Sastasha run, and now I can't log back in. This was 5 hours ago. :<
Thankfully, I get home in the middle of most people's work shifts, so I should be able to log back in tomorrow.
I think you may mean a Catch 22 but I may be wrong. The point, however, is that if people didn't do that in the first place, we wouldn't have this problem. I consider why the answer is simple they are selfish. The feel they are entitled to stand around idle for hours when others could be playing if they logged out. Their selfishness makes them scumbags.
